Welcome to Landry's Counseling Page

At our school, the counseling program is here to support the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe every student deserves a safe space where they feel heard, encouraged, and empowered to grow.

Our counselor and Mental Health professional work with students in many ways, including:

• Individual and small group counseling to help with personal, social, or school-related concerns.

• Classroom lessons on topics like respect, kindness, bullying prevention, self-esteem, goal setting, conflict resolution, and preparing for tests.

• Career and college exploration to help students discover their interests, set goals, and plan for the future.

Through these services, we aim to build confidence, teach healthy coping skills, and guide students in making positive choices—both inside and outside the classroom.

What We Provide

• A caring and supportive place for students to talk.

• Guidance lessons and activities that build character and resilience.

• Opportunities to explore future goals, careers, and pathways.

• Short-term support and referrals if additional help is needed.

What We Cannot Provide

While we are here to help, there are some services outside the scope of the school counseling program:

• Long-term or intensive therapy (we will gladly connect families with outside professionals who can provide this care).

• Testifying in child-custody or other legal matters.
