WE M.A.D.E. provides tutoring, mentoring, direct resources of education, mental health awareness, fitness, and entrepreneurial skills to our students and families.

The mission of WE M.A.D.E. is to make a difference everyday in the lives of young children, teens, and adults. They bridge student learning gaps and support all aspects of parenting by partnering with community leaders and industry partners.

Landry's STEAM Enrichment Program is a pilot coined by Ms. Walker, our long-term high school science teacher.

The goal of the program is to allow those students who have completed their daily assignments time to engage in art and STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) activities. The arts portion of the program exposes students to historical events such as Indigenous People's Day, Hispanic Heritage Month, and American Indian Heritage Month. Students complete reading comprehension and coloring activities in addition to making items pertaining to the theme. Students create vision boards and may also paint on canvas. The STEM portion allows students to participate in activities such as making slime, sensory bottles, solar ovens, and more. High school students also have an opportunity to become certified in CPR and obtain a license based upon eligibility.

The Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) provides a community-based mentoring program for young people ages 8 to 21 who have been referred by community partners. The youth are connected with a trained and dedicated advocate who provides supportive services, individualized goal setting, and case management.

At Landry, YEP connects with our youth three to five times per week, helps them to set and achieve individualized goals, ensures access to basic needs and community resources, and coordinates care with family members, teachers, and other involved adults.
